This is the first thing that comes in the mind when you go on the Google home page and simply click “I’m feeling lucky” button without any text in the search box.
Well it is the countdown for the new year 2010. No one currently knows whether there will be some new thing that will show up as this countdown finishes but one thing is sure that people will wait and watch.
Today, Google has officially launched the beta version of Google Chromebrowser for Mac. You can download the Google Chrome for Mac from here.
Well after a few test, we find it faster over Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5 (tested on Macbook). Although, it is still in beta but it has most of the features which Windows version has. You can use the Address Bar (also called as Omni box) to enter any website URL, search on Google or search thru your bookmarks.
As stated in the video, Google Chrome for Mac uses the centralized location of passwords in Mac, i.e. Keychain Access. The benefits for that it can utilize the Keychain data saved thru different browsers and applications.

Google has again added another service in its bucket. This time Google has targeted the DNS service (Domain Name Server). It has called it Google Public DNS and currently it is still under Google Code mode (or can say testing/beta mode). So, before trying this new service better you read the reviews. They have offered the service to anyone and everyone.
To use the service you have to just configure your network settings to point to the Google Public DNS serverIPs. Following are the Google Public DNS server IPs

Before modifying your network settings, make sure you backup the current settings.
Google has introduced a new feature where Google Search page opens up with Google Logo, Search Text box, “Google Search” button and “I’m Feeling Lucky” button.
As the attached screenshot shows initially Google Search page will load with these controls and when you bring your mouse inside the page, it will show you the rest of links and information. It is a innovative thinking where they are making Google home page more cleaner and light weight.
