Countdown on Google Home page

What is this countdown?

This is the first thing that comes in the mind when you go on the Google home page and simply click “I’m feeling lucky” button without any text in the search box.

Well it is the countdown for the new year 2010. No one currently knows whether there will be some new thing that will show up as this countdown finishes but one thing is sure that people will wait and watch.

Today, Google has officially launched the beta version of Google Chrome browser for Mac. You can download the Google Chrome for Mac from here.

Well after a few test, we find it faster over Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5 (tested on Macbook). Although, it is still in beta but it has most of the features which Windows version has. You can use the Address Bar (also called as Omni box) to enter any website URL, search on Google or search thru your bookmarks.

As stated in the video, Google Chrome for Mac uses the centralized location of passwords in Mac, i.e. Keychain Access. The benefits for that it can utilize the Keychain data saved thru different browsers and applications.

So people enjoy the Google Chrome for Mac and keep us posted on anything new you find.
